Calf Pain and the Morton’s Toe
Calf muscles are located at the back of lower leg. Many reasons are generally given for causing calf pain including
ˆ fatigue
ˆ doing to much to soon
ˆ overexertion
ˆ direct blows to the calf
ˆ blot clots
ˆ improper warm up
ˆ poor circulation
Besides all of the above, I feel calf pain is often caused by the Morton’s Toe ,Long Second Toe.
In her books, Dr. Janet Travell showed how the calf muscles can be damaged by the Morton’s Toe, resulting in calf pains. This fact is still often missed by most physicians, and because of that many people are suffering with calf pain when they don’t have to. Most calf pain that is caused by the Morton’s Toe can be helped with the simple toe pad that cost about $2.00
